Before undergoing any aesthetic treatment, you should ensure that you are following all instructions prior to treatments. These may include:
- Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment
- Make sure your face is clean and free from any dirt and makeup before the treatment
- Do not smoke cigarettes or consume alcohol beforehand
- Avoid taking over the counter pain medications such as aspirin, Advil, ibuprofen, Motrin or Aleve, or vitamins containing fish oil or high doses of vitamin E for at least 7-10 days before your appointment, unless medically necessary.
- Consult with your provider to know about the possible risks of the treatment
